Kaiteki Fresh

Good for the earth

We grow all year round in our state-of-the-art greenhouses. This means less impact on our fields and more nutritious ecoLEAF for you to enjoy.

Australian horticulture faces a major challenge in a changing and variable climate to obtain the quantity and quality of water needed for sustainable farming. Climate change forecasts are for increasing frequency and severity of drought in southern Australia. This will result in an increasingly scarce and intermittent water supply and water costs for growers are predicted to rise sharply.

The Kaiteki fresh® system ensures 12 month continuous supply of the same high quality produce due to the advanced protected cropping system used.

locally-grown

LOCALLY GROWN, LOCALLY DISTRIBUTED

Less transport mileage means a reduced carbon footprint, which is great news for our planet. It also means fresher, tastier and more nutritious vegetables for you and your family.

less-water

LESS WATER, LESS ENERGY, MORE FOOD

90% LESS WATER*: Our farms use substantially less water than conventional farming methods

Conventional field farming requires 250 litres of water per 1kg of spinach.
Kaiteki fresh® farming methods use 1/40th of the volume water to produce the same quantity of spinach.
