Inside the Kaiteki fresh® farm, our sophisticated greenhouse creates the perfect growing environment and keeps it free of pests, which completely eliminates the need for pesticides. eco LEAF™ vegetables also grow with less germs and bacteria than conventional methods and do not require any chemical washing before being packaged.

SUSTAINABLE FARMING

Not only are we able to fulfill our commitment to customers and consumers by supplying produce all year round, we have focused strongly on ensuring environmentally sustainable production.

  • Our ecoLEAF™ production uses less than 10% of the water required to produce the equivalent stock via traditional field farming
  • Cultivation within greenhouses reduces the threat of insects, meaning our produce is insecticide free
  • All produce grown under the Kaiteki fresh® system is 100% pesticide free and no natural or synthetic pesticides are used during the growing or harvesting of plants

Conventional field farming requires 250 litres of water per 1kg of spinach.
